The Beige Index
The Beige Index is the Bechdel Test for race. It has been covered widely by the press, and was the first full-stack web app developed by O’Creative. The project was co-created by Jonathan O’Brien and Siang Lu.
Queensland Poetry
Queensland Poetry’s full redesign was undertaken in partnership with Dowling & Dowling Design. This site helped the organisation relaunch as a more prominent brand within Australia’s literary landscape.
Margi Brown Ash
Margi Brown Ash is Brisbane’s most prominent theatrical diva, and her site redesign cemented her brand within the teaching, learning, and performing spaces, opening up new streams of professional revenue.
Thomas Larkin
Thomas Larkin is a globetrotting performer extraordinaire. This site was created with the goal of presenting Thom as an actor worthy of the global stage, which he continues post-pandemic to pursue with full force.

A Street Zine
This 2021 publication featured prominent Australian writers like Laura Elvery and Shastra Deo writing in response to street art across the walls of Brisbane. The publication’s design draws heavily upon old analogue Refidex maps of the city.
The Arts as a Networked Ecosystem
This document's design began with a simple prompt: what if dry academic research could be beautiful to look at? No one will ever read this thesis, but this way they might at least look at it.
A () Zine
This eight-issue series of publications featured sixteen Brisbane-based writers and artists. All eight issues featured custom hand-lettering and were designed with a mix of digital and physical methods.
The Conspirator
A mammoth 2018 publication featuring more than 90 artists across 272 full-colour pages. Professionally printed and bound, and stocked in bookstores all across Brisbane.
